As members of Generation Z, we are incredibly conscious of the Climate Crisis and its future impact. After reading through the BFI’s roadmap for a Screen New Deal, we have created an Environmental Plan for each department to stick to.

Here are a selection of the actions our plan involves:

Sourcing second-hand props, costumes, and set materials.

Renting from a prop house as opposed to buying new.

Donating props and costumes to charities and theatres after use.

Will use the "Design for Deconstruction" method to ensure less waste at strike.

Carefully scheduling so set lights are on as little as possible.

Organising recycling points throughout set.

Meeting via zoom in preproduction to reduce travel.

Car-sharing to reduce emissions.
